Mission Statement

Spitzer Dance Company was founded in 1992 on the beliefs that dance as an art form and means of expression should be available to people of all abilities and that it enables a desire to dance to become reality. SDC's professional Modern Company is committed to bringing dance to local, regional, national, and international stages. Along with performances SDC brings residencies, workshops, and lecture/demonstrations to the public. In time, funding permitting, SDC hopes to open a home studio. Here SDC will offer dance education to people of all abilities from amateur to professional, from able to disabled (congenital and/or acquired).
